Xbox Controller Port LED

Make your controller ports glow.

1) Open your xbox and remove the controller ports

2) Remove the metal housing to reveal the controller ports wiring

3) Solder on your Led, using a 100 ohm resistor connected to the Anode (longer leg of LED - remember to use 5v Led`s in a colour of your choice). Connect the resistor to the red wire and the other Led connection to the black wire. See illustration below:

4) Bend the Led`s into the required position to illuminate the port then replace the metal housing, done!
